how much weight can exhaust anchor hold?
 
97 ZJ running a cherry bomb dump after cat (NOW)

Im thinking of switching it to a super 40/44 dump, but is that putting my cats hanger in a bind? anybody done it?

the g pack is about 9 pounds and has been fine for months, but i think the flo is like 20!

so ???

Super 44's and Original 40's are 10 lbs each, Super 40 is like 11 lbs. Your hanger shouldn't have any issues as long as it's fairly close to the muffler.

i just found the weight on their website, the hanger is for the cat

Man, I have never heard of anyone being concerned about the weight of the exhaust system. What I have noticed though is the factory hangers are much more robust than what an exhaust shop would fabricate if the factory hangers were not there. To put it simply, I would not worry about it. A flowmaster or most other performance mufflers would probably be a weight reduction vs factory
