How to add HP to my 2010 Jeep Cherokee 3.7L V6
Just got my 2010 jeep grand Cherokee. It's nice but lacking HP. What are things I can do to increase torque + HP, maybe even fuel economy? If that's even possible.
Open to all ideas! And I appreciate the thought and help!

Should have baught the V8 lol well u can get whatever bolt ons that are available for it cold air intake/exhaust, im sure theres some kind of programmer avail for it as well. Or u could throw 4-6K into it for a super/turbo charger. Simple bolt ons will only give u so much gain it wont really be THAT noticeable tho.

If I were to put on a CAI and an exhaust, how much HP would that bring me too extra? 30 maybe? Or less?

I don't see why your looking for a ton of hp in a 2010 GC? Just doesn't seem right but. As stated I would so dual flowmasters k and n cold air. Maybe upgrade injectors and throttle body spacer or bored. If you even can on a 2010. Get a super chip tuner and that will make a huge difference.

less, id say around 10....good horsepower isnt cheap. and rather than drop a ton of money on a K&N CAI, id just make a homebrew, its so simple and requires very little tools, there are tons of threads on them. as far as exhaust, i am not sure on the newer ones, but probably just changing out the muffler would be your best money/power ratio, but that could be wrong?
as far as chips go, you will also probably notice a minimal difference, its not like these motors are being tuned down that much from factory like a 7.3L diesel is, in which case the chip can really bring out some hidden torque.

Lol a grand Cherokee is still a Cherokee lol. It's just grand lol.
It's a 2010. Not like there is another Cherokee model to het it confused with.
Thanks for contributing to the thread

Grand cherokees are pretty much completely different ride... Lol... Try finding a 93-01 cherokee on CL youll get a ton of grand cherokees which is not what your looking for lol... thats like the confusion between "jeep" and "wrangler" they are not the same thing... Lol
