high rpm at idle
Hi, my GC 93 4.0L have a litle hifg RPM at idle, when starting up its 1750 and after a while its down to 800-900. If the engine is cold it takes longer before it go down to 800-900, but if the engine is hot it stills go to 1750 before going down to 800-900. Is this normal? After i had the battery disconnected the idle was to low, sometime so low that it shut down. But after using the car some time it is now stable at 1750 when starting up and 800 after a while. Could it be vacuum related?
Whar is normal RPM at idle (in park)?

I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC, it was dirty. I disconnected the battery when i did this and when starting up it was realy low idle, same as last time i disconnected the battery. So i will use the car and se how it goes. But if the IAC is so dirty could it be that it cant adjust fast enough and thats why i did have high rpm at idle?
