95 grand Cherokee 231 transfer case

95 grand Cherokee 231 transfer case
I'm having a issue swapped two different transfer cases and I'm still getting nothing in any gear. Transmission spins in both forwards and reverse but getting nothing from the transfer case at all any ideas?
