I have a 02 Grand that needs a tranny ASAP! I found one but can't seem to find a read-up that says if I can swap it with mine?
Mine= 02 Grand, straight 6, 4.0
His= 95 Grand, straight 6, 4.0
does anyone know if these years are interchangable?

I have a 95 that GC W/ 4.0 AT and I need a trans. I've been told that a trans from 93-95 will fit mine, I have also been told that only one from a 95 that was built after 1-14-95 will fit mine since thats when mine was built. So, given what i've been told about mine i'd be willing to bet the 95 wont swap with your 02. I was gonna start a thread about mine to find put if it is true I can only put a trans from a 95 (post 1-14-95) or if I can use another. Maybe swap out some plugs or something. If you find out you cant use that one get me in touch with the guy who has the 95. Maybe we can work something out. (If its interchangable)
