Help! Oxygen sensor connector lost......
So I decided that my hiccuping 1995 Grand Cherokee laredo AWD was probably due for a new O2 sensor due to computer diagnoses. I reached up to disconnect the harness for the O2 located at the exhaust collector (5.2l) and the O2 connector came apart with relative ease and now I am unable to locate the harness connector (maybe My hands are too fat) Please tell me I am not going to have to drop the tranny to find this damn harness connector.....

Figured out from a friend. If anyone else comes across this issue, what you do is get on the passenger side of theengine bay and reach down next to the EGR valve and grab the harness there. Pull the harness up, connect your new O2 sensor and drop it back down. Get underneath and twist the o2 sensor counter clockwise 10-12 rotations, then insert the sensor in the hole and tighten the sensor !viola!

Neat trick! That's called using your head for something other than a hat rack.
