Default 97 GJ Laredo, Speedometer needle spun all the way.

Brother blew my CPU in attempt to install light bar, after the light pods on my hood. Replaced CPU, a lot of fuss. I've driven it for years without a speedometer reading, althewhile knowing a new cluster causes the needle to jump from 0 to the other side of the board. All instrument clusters work within the panel except the speedometer(MPH).
Surely, best advice is to take it apart yet is there a specific video which further explains the dynamics of the instrument cluster panel? Within the dash, I notice there aren't any green cluster plug-in sockets, it's a simple harness attached to the back of the instrument panel, so the josteling couldn't occur that'd disturb the "plug-in" of the jeeps' sensor. Yet watching two instrument panels malfunction is beyond me for repairs.

Also, the dome lights stopped working since the CPU fried, and was replaced. As heavenly it was to have LED installed instead of Amber lighting.
And since owning the car (Oct. 2014) the sensor for car error detection by the automatic gear shifter was replaced and burnt out. A lot of problems, a good running jeep, minus the electrical issues. As well, my radio burnt out which I am ordering a replacement for.

Is there a gear within the cluster panel that i should look forward to replacing, or a sensor within the cluster panel?
Thank you.
