Hey guys, Im running at 215 degrees all the time, a little less when idling...maybe 212ish. Im thinking its a vaccum line leak because tstat was just replaced. i have the 5.2, there is a line that makes noise, it sits above the oil fill cap on the left side. sounds a little like slurping, could this be it?

Sounds like your P.C.V. hose, do you see it in this picture? This hose has nothing to do with heat, only vacuum runs through this hose that is attached to the valve cover. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary to here the p.c.v. making weird noises.

Yeahtom, yes thats it. I got the little plastic piece with the check ball and replaced it, the sound is still there but its much more uniform now.

I found a vaccum leak in a small black tube near the firewall. i just put a slightly larger piece if tube over it to fix the connection, it actually gave me my controls back to my ac which was stuck on defrost.

What do you think about the heat issue?

Im going to flush it and if that doesn't work, new radiator since its only 70 bucks.

But its weird how the temp doesn't increase, i can be coasting downhill or towing uphill, only about a 5 degree difference, about 215-220°
