I have a 2000 jeep gc laredo 4.0 inline6. All of my gauges quit working gas, speed, tac, ect. And all the warning lights came on. Still runs normal. Thought it might be alternator so unplugged the 2 wire plug from it and all gauges came back on and warnings are gone, but alt is not plugged in, what can i check or do..and advice will be very helpfull thank you

 

.....check your ground wires on alternator and battery. A bad ground can do some wacky stuff.
