Default Heater

Hello everyone. I own a 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. I live in the Boston area, so it’s extremely cold up here. Anyway, I have noticed for the past week or so that when I use my heater, it only blows out air when the heater is turned on at the highest level, the 4th level all the way over. If I have the heater on the first 3 levels, air isn’t blowing out of them. Has anyone had this happen? Why could this be?

it's pretty damn cold where i am too, and the same thing happened on my 05 4x4 laredo, it started christmas day and lasted until yesterday, now it works normal again. ????
I had driven through 24 to 30" of water and next time i turned the heat on it would only work on "4" and it even had a little whining noise, maybe coincidence to the water incident, don't know how that would affect it......................
