Headlights on...right rear light inoperable
I have 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This vehicle has been in the shop a few times for random electrical issues. I have since moved to the island of Hawaii and there is only one dealership here that is nearly impossible to get into. Here is the issue...
State:
Headlight switch On
Results:
Headlights on
Right rear indicator lights inoperable (Brake, Running, Reverse, Turn)
Blinker sound indicator doubles in speed
State:
Headlight switch Off
Results:
Headlights off
All indicator lights work as expected (Brake, Running, Reverse, Turn)
There is an additional electrical bug going on as well...
The radio does not turn off once the key is removed and the door is open. The mirrors, front power windows, pre-set power seats and power door locks do not work...
Thanks for taking a look at this.

Old fart with a wrench
As far as I know, your rear light problem may be a bad ground at the tailight. The other "bug" is beyond my experience but may be a harness connection problem or Body Control Module.

Thank you
Thanks Dave. I will check it out. From my online research the BCM appears to be under the interior molding on the drivers side. I will pull that off and see if something came loose.
