Have a Review? 1a auto wheel bearing & hub
Does any one have any comparisons or reviews on 1aAuto's front wheel bearing and hub assembly?
They offer the pair for $85.95 and free ground shipping. This seems like a deal too good to be true

If you have tires bigger than stock, get TIMKEN Hubs/bearings. Got mine at amazon.com best price and free shipping. They are a bit more expensive but are the best.

Rather than start a new thread I revived this older one.
So I have replaced the unit bearings on both sides of my Jeep. The first side, PS, I put in a Timken, the 2nd I put in the cheaper brand Advance auto sells, a year after the Timken. I only run a 30" tire and just started running a 1" offset rim 3 months ago.
Well I put the Timken in 4 years ago, ~60k, and its currently junk. My question is I plan on purchasing from rock auto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,1636 I trying to decide if the Moog is worth the extra 5$ over the Timken or better yet if the SKF brand is worth the 15$ more than the Moog. The SKF brand says it should last 100,000 mi, but I know whatever.
Tell me what you guys think. I'm currently thinking Timken b/c I know, hopefully, I should get 4 years, then I was thought why not spend the 5$ and go for the Moog. I do know I don't want to F' w/it again.

Moog used to be one of the top quality brands out there, but they seemed to have lost their way in recent years. I blame the Global economy for the drop in quality from brands that used to be the benchmark. I have had no issues with SKF or Timken bearings in the past. The cheap hub assemblies sound like a good deal, but I've found taking the cheap route will end up costing more in the long run.
