Had to share...
The tire shop put my lug nuts on aluminum wheels too tight last spring and when trying to get one off last night the cap came off and twisted. We tried everything to get it off. Then the bright idea came across to weld something to it. That didn't work. I ended up just melting the lug and studs down to nothing to get it off. 2 days later I have snow tires on. Yay me

That's a fun story. I'm glad you got is straightened away. Discount Tires got on my nerves yesterday. They were supposed to get my shipment in and it wasn't until closing time that they called saying they were in. I had stopped by earlier to no prevail. Hurry up, it's going to snow soon!!!!!
