grand stering?

Default grand stering?

ok my sister has a 96 grand with the 4.0 and an auto trany... sterring is shaking and vibrating. we have replaced the steering box and the intermediate shaft... what could be the problem... i come to yall cuz everyone on here is a jeep mechanic god... haha.. so what do yall think the problem is???

So the steering wheel shakes? All the time? is it stock or lifted?

Loose lugs? Bent rim? Out of balance wheel/tire? Try rotating the tires and see if the shaking steering wheel goes away. Just my guess.

its stock... and i will have her try that... thanks blue... and it only does it when you hit a bump at higher speeds... it does not do it when going slow but i will talk to her and my dad.. thanks guys..

It certainly could be a tire/wheel issue but usually when it's happening over bumps it will be track bar bushings or control arm bushings,i would check those along with ball joints/unit bearings,tie rod and draglink to be on the safe side.
