my buddy texted me asking for help with a problem in his 2003 Grand Cherokee. He texted me:
“my Jeep is stalling (herky jerky slamming poping noises) when in drive and accelerating, when it stalls the instrument cluster goes dark, no codes being caught due to the computer not having power during the stalling or because it's not an issues that would throw a code, also I can put it in neutral or park and rev just fine, I was wondering if you ever ran into that issue and if so how did you fix it?”
”The gauges jump around like they are on something during the stalling”
”Check engine on and off, very violent stalling”
”Any thoughts, I've done the fuel filter and pump, and new battery”
