Default Grand Cherokee 4.0 Limited 2000 Coolant Leak

Hi,
I'm in the UK and I viewed a Grand Cherokee 4.0 limited year 2000 today.
I was impressed with the condition of the vehicle but was concerned by a couple of things.

1st the MOT had two advisory warnings on it - 1 for the offside inner rear suspension component mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive and 2 the nearside outer rear suspension component mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive.

And looking through the various receipts the previous owner had a problem with Coolant leaking and twice she took it to the official Jeep garage, once in 2008 whereby they couldn't find what was causing the issue and suspected that it might be a head gasket about to go and in 2010 August the issue was still occurring and the garage suspected a leaking radiator.

When I test drove it today, the coolant low warning light was on so the problem still exists.

I really like this car and want to buy it, but could you please give me advice on these two issues.
Particularly the coolant leaking problem.
Many Thanks

You can have the cooling system pressure tested and the leak will become apparent. Here in the U.S. any auto parts outlet/repair facility can do the procedure for free.

X2 with Ole Blue. A Block Test can also be perfomed to see if there are combustion gases in the cooling system, if there are, then yes, the head gasket is cracked. But hopefully what it might be if a fauly coolant temp sensor, it has 2 jobs, see the coolant and to report the temp of the coolant. OHM it out and see where it gets you.
Napa sells a block tester for under $10 I think. Just sayin
