First my liftgate open indicator light started blinking on and off on my drive home two nights ago, which of course makes the interior lights blink as well. It was dark which made for an interesting drive... not mention what the cars around me thought. My alarm has randomly gone off 2 nights in a row(2am and 4am). Unless the Jeep Gods are playing jokes, I think I have the problem solved. I will let you know tomorrow.

Door sensor which makes the jeep think think a door is open,which in turn sets off alarm if it is set. Ha ha I had this happen to me and I thought people were doin **** to my jeep so I ran out with a bat. Happened 4 times over a period of 3 days (every time it happened late at night)

after tracing wires, testing sensors, i isolated the problem. it was a relay in the passenger side kick panel above the fuses. this was my first electrical gremlin, hopefully not a sign of things to come...

Having same issue. Liftgate ajar indicator going off and on. Had alarm go off two nights in a row. Which relay did you replace?
