Default Gearbox
My gearbox is stuck in first on my 2003 grand Cherokee. Anybody had this problem b4? Any solutions?!

Grand cherokees are known to have bad shift selenoids. hasnt happend to me yet but hey its a place to start.

Would that stop it from changing up gear? Are they an easy fix? Thanks

If i recall its a somewhat easy task. Its just an expensive part i beleive

Actually after doing some research today i suggest checking your trans speed sensors. One monitors input rpm and the other is output rpm. This makes it shift accordingly. Also i read that those trannys dont have 1,2,3 gear shift selenoids
