Looking for what a specific fuse does:(
Hey Everyone,
This is probably one of the most specific questions youve ever had... but
I have a jeep grand cherokee 1998 limited (silver one) it was running great until recently. The battery would die on it, we tested it with a volt tester and found something was drawing 2 volts constantly on the batttery.
Through trial and elementation we figured out what it was by trying each fuse.
Under the hood it was the F19 20a fuse. MY problem is I can't seem to find anywhere what the fuse does! It isn't labeled as to what exactly it does. But when we disconnected that fuse the charge went away
I found a diagram of the fuse box in the jeep:
It is in the group A on the box, F19 20a. We think thats what is drawing the charge. http://imgur.com/5G8ag7b
PLEASE anything you guys can tell me would be a huge help. Thankyou so much. Unfortunatly I do not have the manuel. I bought it used..
Thanks
Again the jeep is a 1998 Jeep Grand cherokee limited (silver color)

That diagram came direct from the Chrysler Field Service Manual for 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ/ZG. It didn't have a specific note for a Limited or Laredo etc.
