Fuel Injector Fuse Check

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 V8 - As long as the engine never goes above 3,200 RPM it works fine - Whenever I punch the accelerator, it blows the injector fuse. I can replace the fuse and I'm fine. Gas mileage is about 16.8 MPG. Any ideas? Could this be a faulty injector, and if so, how could I test them? Resistance, or maybe a 12V line to each and listening to them with a stethoscope? Thanks in advance,

Any misfires or codes? I guess a good test would be checking resistance. It would be best to check the resistance on a cold engine due to resistance values changing related to heat. The resistance should be around 10-14 ohms. I would expect you to find most of them around that value and maybe one or possibly 2 way off of that.

Only other check I think that might be somewhat easy is to buy a big handful of fuses (at least 8) and unplug 1 injector at a time and see if the fuse quits blowing for 1 of the 8 injectors.
