Front to rear swap.

yup, pretty much.
he actually used v8 front coils in the rear and a set of 4 inch xj rubicon express coils in the front.
that and a new set of shocks to fit for the added lift over stock.
and a day with the sawzall to eliminate any rubbing.
rides great and flexes well. (manually removing the sway bar links).

so im going to buy v8 springs from the jy and put those in the front and then put my front springs in the back, those are 4.0 zj coils in the rear, that should give me 3 inches in the rear. anyone now what v8 zj coils will give me in the front of my 4.0 zj?

f-150s = 3.5ish
v-8 GC coils = .75ish
v-8 gc coils (with up country suspention package) =1.75ish
Curdosy of posjeepxj. He had that posted in the Cherokee Tech Section.
Oh yea.... Track bars are a good thing man. They keep your axle centered and not getting all screwy on ya. Track bars are there for an important reason, its not like a sway bar.... All xj's have front track bars but not in the rear because xj's have leaf's in the rear, our grand cherokees have coils all around which is why we need them front and rear. Almost all lift kits I see for our zj's come with upgraded track bars or new brackets, the kits came with those track bars for a reason.

Yeah from what I have read during my many months of research on the GC's.. you don't have to replace your trac bars with 3" or below... but if you got the money for them... I would still go about either going adjustable or brackets with a little bit of adjustment...

I'm hoping the 3inches will look a little more lifted.
