front end wander
here's a new one for ya. while coming into a turn in my 96 ZJ if i'm turning left everything is fine...no wandering at all. but if i'm turning right i'll turn the wheel and it wont catch right away. its almost a delay in my steering. kinda like a rack and pinion does when its going out. but thats not the case here. anyone had this problem before?

look at both ends of the track bar.
get someone inside to shake the steering wheel back and forth taking up the play and crouch down under the front to check the bushings in the track bar.
it'll be a bad bushing either on the axle mount or frame mount of your trackbar.
if not, maybe a hub bearing.
unless your steering box is obviously leaking.

my 96 zj was in a front end collision before i got it, passenger fender damage, it tracks all over the road, i started with close to 8 inches of steering wheel travel to start a turn, my guess is the steering box is toast. what does everyone think?? tie rod and track bar dont appear to move any. and the tires are not wearing unevenly since i've started driving it
