99 WJ 4..0 . pulled plugs and ran a comp check due to eng running
Rough and va!ve clatter. 90 on #1 snd140/150 on the rest. Put it back together and still ran rough but ran. 10 min later cranked it again and it ran about5 seconds and quit. Ghg fuel pump relay,bad battery ,, still cranks but quits in about 5 seconds. It even back fires sometimes. It has a new coil set wit the pig tail adapt. Any ideas?

Where's the best place to break the system to test it.

The test port on the fuel rail.

Did that this am 50+ psi. Still won't stay running. Also now Windows don't work.

There's a Window Lock button on the driver's door console, you may have bumped it with your elbow.

Was this running normally and just started this, or has it been sitting for a while? How many miles on it?

Window locks off prob doesn't have anything
To do with it. Any way tks for the ideas. It is now on the trailer to go to my fleet service guy! He has a couple of jeep guys working there. Wife has other things to do besides listen to me rant and get frustrated.

Did you check the security system?

That is what mine do when the system is tripped. Also, you might swap the associate relay with the A/C or whatever relay is the same as the auto shut down relay in the Power dist. center under the hood.
