Firing Order/Spark Plug Wire hook up on 96 zj
 
Does anyone know the firing order and which spark plug wires go where on my 96 Grand Cherokee V8 5.2? I don't think i messed it up but would be nice to know i got it right

The firing order is:1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
The cylinders are: Passenger side from front to back: 2-4-6-8.
Drivers side front to back: 1-3-5-7.
On the distributor cap, if looking at it from above, the #2 wire goes in the 6:00 position (towards the radiator). The distributor turns clockwise, so to the left of #2 is #1, then #8, then #4, then #3 at the 12 o'clock position, then #6, then #5, then #7, then back to #2.
