Default Expensive lift?

Just called my local 4x4 shop and was told the only lift I can get is a 3.5" and I can only fit 32s. I have a 96 grand Cherokee AWD is this true? I was told the lift would cost around $4200.

that is an insane price, do you know what brand lift they would use?

heres a few different brands-

-IRO (Iron Rock Offroad) http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFZ
-Rubicon Express (RE) http://www.rubiconexpress.com/SuspensionSystems/ZJ.aspx
-Rough country (RC) http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_zj_...lift_kits.html
-Rustys Offroad http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...ode=sus_zj_kit
-Zone Offroad http://zoneoffroad.com/prod-display?ca=1&ma=6&mo=61

and the list goes on... All you need is a friend who knows what they are doing and a weekend (maybe some beer for the end of the day too) I Put a 2in "BB" (which consisted of 4, 2in tall pucks that went between the springs and frame that i got from "Fat Bob's Garage" via ebay for something like $65) in an afternoon with basic hand tools and no real prior experience when i was 17. Before I put the lift on all i had done was research how to put it on on here and other sites

The awd limits your choices for some reason. I think it's because of the CV style front driveshaft, but that can always be swapped for a ujoint style shaft.

Just for the record. I have a 3" lift and have 33" tires. So you should be able to fit bigger then 32's with a 3.5" lift.
