Engine Knock

My Grand Cherokee limited has a knocking or ticking sound when I start and accellerate.The oil was a little low when I had the oil changed. Is this something serious like a rod? Hope not. Thanks for any advise you can give me.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

A rod will knock steady at about 1800-2000 rpm with no load. Can you post a video?
