Default Electrical problem...

Ok so, power door lock doesn't work (it buzzes) but p windows work.

Back turn signals don't work but back brake lights and front signals do work.

When ignition is turned off and key is removed EVERYTHING except engine stays on. (lights, windshield blades, signals, radio, heat blower... Etc.)

Are these things all part of the same problem or do I have several different problems, and, how or what do I do to fix them!

Bragging rights: just finished replacing the starter all by my self!! Haha first time under the hood on my own!

Any help would be great!!! I'm trying to save $$$ but learning how to fix things on my own...

It could possibly be the ignition switch. Nearly everything you listed is associated with it.

Good for you with the starter, you just saved a chunck of change! My 98 GC does some strange stuff sometimes, like I turn the headlights off and they don't turn off....I turn them on and off again and all is well. Kinda a real pain cause if it works you can't find the problem. Intermittent (sp) probs can run you in circles!! Still haven't found the fix for dashlight dimmer fluctuations. Seems no matter where I beat on the dash it comes and goes.....light touch or rough, no diff! I can live with it.

Default Hmmm...

Great, I was thinking it could be the ignition switch! I'll grab one from eBay and replace it next week!

Let you know soon...

Default Electrical problem w turn signals...

My first post - I bought my Jeep last week!

I figured on adding here rather than making a new thread - hope its okay. I'm a noob with Jeeps specifically, but very proficient with mechanical (used to do Mustangs), but less so with electrical, lol.

2000 JGC Laredo (Stock)
No fog lights

I have a problem with the pass side turn signal. At night (with all lights on) the turn signal flash increases frequency (to about 2x normal) when I brake to make the turn. This only occurs when depressing the brake pedal, and only at night. As soon as I release the brake, the frequency returns to normal.

It operates normally during the daytime with lights off or with all lights on.

Driv side has no issues at all.

I have all new bulbs but don't want to install them until I have a better idea of what's going on here. Any similar experiences or ideas on where I should begin?

Thanks
