easy way to replace the heater core 2001 jeep

everyone says you have to remove the dash to replace the heater core. Is the any short cuts?

Yes, the dash must be removed to access the airbox. Also the AC must be discharged/captured. There is no other way or option. If the heater core is leaking, it can be eliminated from the loop by rerouting the heater hoses, but you will have zero heat.
