I have a 1994 grand cherokee that is giving me some trouble. The door handle on the driver's side dosen't unlatch the door but only from the outside. Is there a easy to adjust the buttons unlatch strength or does the handle just need to be replaced? if it does need to be replaced how do i do that? Is there a step by step diagram somewhere? Lol.

Take door panel off and look for disconnected steel rod or crack handle. There are philips screw. I think is three. Some under round cover. one by door handle. After removing screws just pop the cover starting from bottom.
Sometimes the rod will pop out of plastic holder.
