Dome light question
Ok so when I got my 97 GC Laredo 2 weeks ago it had a few small issues.
The one I couldnt figure out was the interior lights. The fuse was good. At least thats what I thought. After checking everything 2-3 times I decided screw it and tried a new fuse.....BAM!!!!!! The lights worked!!!!!!
Victory!!!!
Well that was short lived..... I closed the door and the lights all stayed on.
I replaced the 4 door switches and I though I fixed it.
That would of been too easy.....LOL
Now the light turn on and off as I drive.
I was wondering if there was a switch in the hatch???
I looked but I dont see one.

Are there any switches on the dome light itself? Maybe one back by the hatch? I know, silly guess.. but i've seen some simple stuff confuse, befuddle or just cause a forehead slap on these pages

I am going to pull a bunch of switches from the pick-a-part tomorrow morning. I am sick of a pitch black interior.
Thanks for all the good ideas!!

Well I got some switches for the doors and thought I had fixed it.
I thought that way for about 2 minutes after leaving for a short trip to the store.
The lights started turning on and off. Its obviously a loose connection.

yes the hatch has a swtich as well.... also check and make sure the doors close all the way. the PO of my zj screwed up swapping the door hatch and now my door wont close enough to trigger the door switch, so im either 100% on or 100% off

I was thinking that I would try to "deactivate" each door switch one at a time.
All I need to do Is disconnect the switch and ground the wire. Am I right?
