Default Does my jeep have a bb? Pic inside

I found out that my jeeps stock tire size is 235, well the tires on it are 255 so I was wondering if it has a bb lift or something? That's a picture of my shock. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

That's a pic of the spring.before the the shock is the part that's cutoff by the pic...

Looks like some sort of spacer. Doesn't look much like the factory spring isolator, but its a GC so I could be wrong.

Oh, if it had a bb installed where would it be located?

The black coil or coil spring would have a 1-2" piece of, most commonly polyurithane, set on top of it. (Between the spring and frame)

Have you looked at my picture I posted? That's how it sits with 255 so it must have a lift

Yes, I looked at your pic that you posted. That is simply a buffer between the unibody mount and the coil spring. Did you notice that the coil goes into that rather than resting on it?

I didn't see that. So would the bb sit between the buffer and the unibody?

No, it replaces that piece. Look up a BB kit on the website of skyjacker or rubicon exress to see what the items used look like. Also, They have installs on youtube that you would profit from looking at.

Look up your vin and see if your rig came with the upcountry option. It's a 1" lift fron the factory. I would call a dealership or maybe chrysler direct to get the info.

These #'s have nothing to do with tire height. They are a measurement (in mm) of the width of the tire's running surface. The second number in the tire size (255/XX) is a height measurement, but it is the percentage of tire width (in millimeters) as it relates to sidewall height.

Example - A tire that is a 235/75/R15
a) is 235 millimeters wide (or 9.25 inches)
b) has a sidewall height of 176.25 millimeters (75% of 235) (or 6.9 inches)
c) has an overall height of 28.8 inches (15" for the rim, plus 6.9"X2 (since there are 2 sidewalls across the width of a tire)=28.8")

Now you can figure out how much taller/shorter than stock your current tires are. (they are 10mm wider, or about 3/8")

So do I. Great rigs. Most came with the UpCountry option standard, from what I was told. Again, contact your dealer. And as far as the tires go. Go to REDROCK4X4.COM and check out the tire calculator. I have 30" inch toyo AT's on mine with no aftermarket lift.

I will check mine and see what setup I have on the belly of the beast.
