death wobble
so i've got an intermittent death wobble problem. i've looked at the pitman arm and all the steering arms and i can't see that anything is that messed up to where it would do that. i'm thinking that maybe its the shocks. it only does it when it hits a bump in a certain way and it normally doesn't do it below 50 mph. does anyone think that the shocks could be the problem?

Toe-in setting
Track Bar looseness/tightness
Steering Stabilizer "health"
In another post I gave a link to a page that I wrote some years ago on how to cure Death Wobble, but I don't remember the post, so I'll just give you the link again: http://www.kevinsoffroad.com/techarticles.html
If you follow that guide step by step, you'll have an 80%+ chance of solving the issue, and if you're still having it after all that is done, give us a call at 602-841-3355 and we can talk you through the rest of the 20%. It's a rare occasion that we're not able to cure DW (or assist in large part).
Hope you get it fixed soon...I hate DW! It might be the most horrible thing ever! :-)

I am thinking it is the Steering Stabilizer if it happons when you hit bumps. But just take a wrench to it and make sure that all of your bults are tight.
