steering noise

steering noise
I just install new axle shaft. cv style. when i make small sharp turns at low speed or just backing out turning it feel like the wheel is hitting the fender. you could hear noise. you can also feel like the axle poping. i dont think the wheel is hitting the fender. 5.2 95 gc. any ideas what this could be?

Yes, please, someone reply. I have a simular problem with my 99. No resolutions yet. I have replaced my diff fliuds, regreased th cv's, checked breaks. Still makes the noise. But it is quieter.
check you fliuds, if you have limited slip and old fluids it can cause the noise as the disk slips and grabs.
