D35 pinion slop
I had a oil leak in the pinion seal on my D35. I disconnected the driveshaft and moved it aside to take the yolk off. Upon taking the yolk out, the leak got a lot worse and the pinion seems to have a significant amount of play.
I've been noticing a "whining" noise that increases with vehicle speed (not engine speed or tire noise)
Could this be signs of a bad pinion bearing?
