I have a 2001 jeep cherokee larado 4.7 and not sure where to start. Its setting no codes . It cuts off automatically at random times moving and at idle and when this happens all gauges look good no alternator oil pressure drops checked fuel pressure and it's great. Then the other day my AC and radio quit working, thought it could be a fuse but before i even got a. Chance to check it all a sudden worked again, then last night my headlights, tail lights and interior lights and dash cluster lights quit working, the interior lights would work is I turned them on manually and individually but not with dimmer switch I could still use my bright lights but only if i held the switch in the on position. Then after checking all the fuses, they all a sudden started working again. I am starting to think it is all related since it all started within a few weeks, but dont reallty know where to start in diagnosis. Ive looked at fixes to the issues separately, but when it is all intermediate and all started withing a month I feel like its related and all of the fixes will only "fix" one issue at a time. I cannot see that many things going bad at once for no reason. Also when I bought my jeep the prior owner had a brake controller in it. The actual controller has been removed for years but all the wiring is still there and it was located under the steering column. I want to remove all that extra wiring since I don't need a brake controller, but I'm also kinda leaning in the direction that maybe that could be causing the issue since its in the same region.
This is what the brake controller wires looked like ins vehicle.
