Default Crank but no start, 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L

I bought my wife this 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee for her mail route. She called me during the middle of the day, telling me that it had stopped and wouldn't restart. I got it towed home, changed the Crankshaft position sensor, still nothing. Replaced the fuel filter/pressure regulator AND fuel pump, and I still don't have any fuel pressure. I can hear it when it kickstarts in, but that's as far as it goes. PLEASE HELP!!

It turns over like a champ... As a matter of fact, it runs with starter fluid. I just can't find out why no fuel is reaching the fuel rail...

Have you checked pressure? It might be the injector circuit.

I found it....

Delphi fuel pumps run rather quiet, and is hard to hear with that incessant beeping when you turn the switch. So I tossed the keys to my wife, put my ear to it.... Lo and behold, the new pump wasn't working.... So I swapped it out for another, put it in, and now it runs like a champ..... Now I have to figure out the easiest way to seal this hole below the spare tire; didn't want to drop a half-full tank of gas....

Make a patch for it, stick it down with some roofing cement, drill some holes in it for sheetmetal screws. My brother did that on his Chevy Malibu when he changed the fuel tank gauge unit.
