Default Couple questions on upgrading the ignition

Hey guys, getting ready to do another overhaul on the zj. I ordered the MSD Ignition Coil and some Accell 8mm wires. I replaced my cap and rotor about 4 months ago but it did not have the brass terminals. Should I get a new Cap and Rotor with the brass in order to get the most out of the ignition coil? Also, should I still just run the stock copper champion plugs? What gap? I was thinking about maybe opening them up another .005.

Good question. From my past experience with a performance coil and wires set, its safe to jump another 5 on the gap. Some can gain another .010 on the gap...HOWEVER I would recommend checking with MSD as they built this for the 4.0 and should have specs on recommended gap on these. Stock plugs are fine. Brass terminals is always a good way to go. These are recommended
