I bought a new ( used ) WJ recently, the brake pedal felt soft, no lights were on though. we bled the brakes and still had a soft pedal. The master cylinder was bad so we put a new one on, We bench bled it and then bled the brakes after.
My red brake light was on then and i still had a soft pedal. I had the brakes vaccum bled and still did the same thing? any ideas? theres no leaks in the system?

Also the check engine light is on and it is saying torque converter clutch, It drives perfect with no slips, except a couple times right after i started the jeep i floored it and when i let off and it shifted into overdrive it stalled
i did notice on time while parked in a yard overnight i started it and shifted it to drive and i had to give it a little more gas than usual to get going


and something i also just noticed
every now and again the rpms fluctuate while stoped
itll go down to like 450 and up to 600


any ideas whats wrong?
