Default Coolant bleeding

The 4.7's are such a pain in the backside to fully bleed the air out of .. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I dont know how the 4.7 is, but on my 4.0 i6 it was easy to bleed when there was a bleed hole in the thermostate, without the bleed hole it was a pain to bleed. I dont know if your engine need a thermostate with bleed hole.

IF you have a temp sensor in the thermostat housing like the I6, you can remove that to bleed the air quickly. That's how I do it with my 4.0 when I do a flush and fill. I just leave it out until coolant flows out of the fitting, reinstall it, then finish the fill. Works perfect every time.
