Control Arm Problems
I recently had work done on my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The steering stabalizer bar and the track bar were both replaced. I am now hearing a popping noise that occurs mostly when I turn the steering wheel, but I hear it at other times also. This was not happening before I took it to the mechanic. The mechanic is now telling me I need to have four of the control arm bushings replaced at $90 a pop plus labor. I have two questions; is this a reasonable price, and why am I hearing the popping noise now after having had the work done, when it was not a problem before?
