clicking from the tranny

clicking from the tranny
its a 95 with the 4.0 auto trans. the car is making a clicking noise and i crawled under and its coming from the front of the trans like the flexplate or torque converter. any ideas? its allready missing the inspection cover so im guesing the guy that sold it to me allready new about it but the flexplate looks ok.
