it only comes on when its cold out side. when you put it in park it revs up to about 1600 rpms and bounces between 1600 and 1300. kinda like a vacume leak but i cant find one. what could be causing the truck to do this?

If your check engine light is on have your codes read. Autozone does it free or for most jeeps depending on the year you can turn your key off an on 3 times your check engine light will flash codes or if u have a digital odometer it will be displayed there

its not on all the time. it comes on when the gas gauge goes below 1/4 of a tank

yeah u should read the codes.. could be fuel pressure problem.. TPS etc.

yeah its not on now and hasnt been on for a few days but im gonna get it checked tomorrow any way

i think the float in the gas tank is gettin stuck and not lettin it go down all the way
