My center display in my jeep displays taillight failure but my taillights work fine.
The issue started when i took my car to the car wash I was holding my brakes not knowing that the car wash rollers were guiding my truck. The lights work fine as well as my truck its just a little annoying seeing my display errors.

Check every light in the rear, any of them will set it off.

I had that happen with mine the other week. It ended up being the rear side marker not the rear lights them selves. Turn on your lights then get out and look at your car fromthe side, if you don't see your tail light on the side you found your fault.

I had a 95 GC, same thing happened every few months..VIC said tail light out, it never was.

At least yours is past the problem of the alarm going off randomly, even with the car on...happened to mine when it was new, as well as a coworker, she had the same year/model/color....

its chrysler...want can you do...

eventually you might get the "coolant sensor failure" warning as well.
