Default can't find short?? need some help.

2 months ago, dash lights would go on and off intermittently, sometimes staying on for a while and then going off. By messing with headlight switch, it would sometimes come back on. Recently, the VIC had no power, as well as the overhead console. The turn signals also stopped working, but hazard lights stayed on. I have removed all lights, multi switch from steering wheel, headlight switch, VIC, overhead console, removed fuse #6 and #13, combination flasher, and I still have a short to ground from load side of fuse #6. Not sure what to check next... Any ideas? Sorry for long thread.

I think I've narrowed it down. Power starts at pin 5 at ignition switch, goes to line side #6 fuse; load side goes to #2 pin on combo flasher; #4 pin on flasher to pin#1 C-5 J-block; pin#1 on C-5 plug (red) to multifunction-switch #17. I've got continuity from load side fuse #6 to ground, and continuity from pin#4 (combo flasher) to ground. Has anyone heard of the Junction Block shorting out? It looks like I need to remove it to follow wiring behind it.

I've seen plenty of ignition switch harnesses burn around the aux terminal pin at the plug. Pull the covers off of the column and take a look at the long flat plug on the ign. switch.

Default Back at it

Well I'm not quitting! Thanks busted back, all wires there checked out. I did isolate the short; it's a yellow/green wire on yellow plug, top of Junction Block. #1 position. Where would I find out what that feeds? Thanks.
