I replaced window motor on drivers door. Now the jeep is on alarm and the key won't disarm it. I don't have the rke. Any thoughts?

hey,
i had the same problem when i bought my jeep, if you can put the key into the lock on the hatach and unlock it there, if that doesnt work, pull the hatch apart, and no the back of the lock cylinder there will be a switch with two wires cut those and hook them together and it will never do that again! THIS INFO COMES STRIGHT FROM THE chrystler dealer and it did work for me good luck

We (my son and I) tore the dash apart and found the alarm module. From there he grounded the purple yellow strand on the harness. That cured the problem for us. For these being such a problem to fix there sure aren't many in the junk yard. Someone must be fixing them. Thanks. F1

It quit again. I'm sure getting to meet a lot of new people. Tow truck drivers at least. It starts but won't run, or runs rough and dies. Anyone else have this issue?
