A/C fixes?
so my jeep has a junkyard compressor. after we got it on and filled it with 3 cans of refrigerant(which is normal for an empty compressor) after a while there was a nice puddle of refrigerant onder the car. are there any specific o-rings or seals that i should check and what should i look for? the condensor/dryer is covered in surface rust but all the hosing looks operable and there arent any visable signs of leaks/holes/breaks that i can see. this weekend were going to vacuum test it to see if we can pinpoint it, but where are some common places for it to leak? its a '93 with the 318 V8
thanks!!
thanks!!

um puddle wasnt refrigerant as its a gas at atmospheric pressure
are these 12 oz. cans
did you go by the label under the hood or on the compressor as to how much total charge is?cuz frankly 3 cans sounds like too much
looks like its supposed to be 28 oz so 3 12 oz cans IS too much

As stated above, the refridgerent will not puddle on the ground, it boils at something like -22 degrees. The best thing to do would be to replace all of the hoses, liquid line, and accumulator, www.rockauto.com will have them and they are not that expensive.

its not my jeep, im just fixing it being neglected for many years. and whatever it was puddled up in the passenger floor-pan, and the refrigerant ran away.
and it makes sense that refrugerant would have such a low boiling point... otherwize it wouldnt cool as well. derp.
