A/C Blend Door Failure Suspected
 

Hello.
I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I suspect that the fresh air blend doors are broken and stuck open as I get outside odors in the cabin. Any how, I really do not want to take the dash off and repair as it looks like way too much work. Has anyone tried capping the fresh air vent? I live in Florida and I've never even used the fresh air setting. I assume on my vehicle it's under the wiper cowl somewhere?? Any suggestions? I've owned since 2001. Also, the heat isn't working...blows cold to warm air only.
