Brake Light/Electrical Problem. Troubleshooting Help?

Brake Light/Electrical Problem. Troubleshooting Help?
Hey Everybody!
This is the first post I've made on the GC section of this forum. Anyhow, I have a '98 Grand Cherokee I'll be taking on a road trip in less than a week, and I noticed today that my brake lights are not working! However, the upper brake light (at the top of the back glass) does work, and all the fuses are good. I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting this, if anyone reading this does, or has had the same problem, I would sure appreciate any help. Thanks!
