Body panel question
i just got a 94 GC 4x4 after getting rid of my 89 XJ. I was wondering if its possible to take the plastic panels off the GC and if so, what is involved and are there going to be any holes under them? i think the jeep would look alot better without them but id like to see what kind of work is involved in taking them off. i have searched all over and cant get a definitive answer

yes you can take them off, its not hard, and yes there will be a few holes under there, as for how... its pretty straight forward, I think there are nuts holding the doors cladding on, look on the back side, along the edge of the door

I know a few people that have taken them off, think there are 4 holes on each door, then the little tabs, I did forget about those, you really can hardly even notice the holes, but I personally like the look of the cladding , you can always take them off to see what it looks like, and if you dont like it, put it back on...

i believe you can just lift up on the cladding and it comes off. On my last jeep i only had it on one side so i ripped it off the other and used a grinder to get rid of the tabs and bondo'd over the holes
