Default Body lift question

Hey, I have a question about body lifts. I was looking into buying a 3-4.5 inch body lift , but my friend who put a 3" inch lift on his blazer said that it caused his trucks steering to go wacky and that his truck in general is just not right. So my question is should i just save and spend the money on an actual lift kit or just get a body lift

I'm an XJ guy, Bro, but, I believe Grand Cherokees are Unibody frame just like regular Cherokees. If that is the case, you can't put a body lift on one.....

x2 cherokees are unibody so the body is the frame so you should look at kits (not body) also with any lift you should get a alinement witch could have been you buddys problem

If you figure out how to get a body lift on a Grand Cherokee, you will be a VERY rich man.....

Its a unibody vehicle, not a body on frame vehicle. So you can't put a body lift on it.

But yes, if not done correctly a body lift can screw up the steering geometry of a truck.

the "pucks" go in between your coils and springs and a body lift would go in between the body and frame,
i updated one of my previous post with a couple lift kits the second rustys is a "puck" kit

ther is plenty more kits out there but thoes are the sites i had bookmarked
